For Brandyn Roark Gray, “Life is an Adventure” is more than a motto; it’s a fact of life.  The 28-year-old from Sandpoint, Id. is constantly seeking new ways to test her mind and challenge her body.  Whether it’s flying to the tops of mountain peaks in Alaska, landing on skis and plummeting through uncharted territory on the way down, or competing in competitions with her adventure team in Canada, Roark Gray prides herself on being an all-around athlete.  Her competitive nature drives her to “seek the next big WOW in life” and her work as a program manager and counselor for a children’s mental health clinic gives her unique insights into how to break through the mental obstacles that can accompany such thrilling endeavors.  Roark Gray has even expanded her thrill-seeking to the sky, flying airplanes and earning her student pilot status.  She is also very passionate about using her skills to serve humanity, volunteering for Children of Nations, Cancer Care Services, Autism Foundation and a new charity that she is pioneering called “Ecoathlete.org.” When asked why she wanted to take part in the Land Rover G4 Challenge Nevada Passage Adventure Competition, Roark Gray’s adventurous spirit exclaimed, “I’m always looking for the next WOW in my life!”
